Acoustronic set for Lisbon showcase

It is the only initiative selected from across the UK to present at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s international ‘Partis’ showcase in Lisbon, celebrating artistic practice as a means of social intervention for social inclusion.

Acoustronic tour to Dublin

Acoustronic will tour to Dublin on 1 November for a performance at University College Dublin as part of the 23rd International Conference on Virtual Systems and Multimedia. The group will be joined by the Benyounes String Quartet for a performance of Frank Lyons's NonZeroSum commission, plus new compositions for the group.

Derry leads the way in UK-wide music project

‘Inclusive Creativity’ brings together musicians and composers from three arts organizations across the UK (Derry/Londonderry, Orkney and London), to research and develop participant-led routes into collaborative music making using assistive music technology (AMT).   Funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the project is one of just fourteen consortia selected to support participatory performing arts practices.
